After our normal working hours, we have a wonderful group of nurses to answer the questions and concerns of our patients. They are on call for us even in the late night and early morning hours! These nurses use a protocol created by Barton Schmidt, MD to determine the condition of your child. If the scope of the illness or accident merits further action, then the nurse will page one of Chisholm Trail providers or recommend that you go to the emergency room. They also have the ability to make your child an appointment for the following day (Monday - Saturday).

Every time you talk to a nurse they fax us a written description of the call including symptoms and recommended treatment. We then place these in your child's medical record for future reference, if needed. Saturday Clinic
It never fails on Saturday morning your child wakes up sick! We have clinic for just that on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. You can call in the morning and make an appointment or show up and take the first available appointment. This is reserved for sick children only. We do close on some holidays but there is always Chisholm Trail provider back-up along with the nurses's call center.
